Thanks for this Really interesting. Looks like a lot of work and a lot of cost. Refurbishing my Spearfish is put into perspective.

Whittle Marine is Nick Whittle, the boat has been in the family for a long time. Nick is a club member and advertised in the recent Fairey News. He is well renown for excellent wooden boat skills.

This would be an excellent set of images for the club archive .A how to do it guide on repair, showing boat construction detail and repair method in what I suspect are the usual areas of soft timber etc. How to cut shape and install new sections all very interesting.Nick

Its also interesting how it shows the damage that fresh water does from above, all those pics are well above the waterline.

Made me feel better, I feel i'm on a slow boat to china at the moment. That has cheered me up no end. Fantastic photos, thanks for putting it up on the site.
