Firefly Spearfish 15

I am getting very near to completing the boat now but the engines are not in yet, it could happen all at once.Hopefully.
In the end I did not get the superstructure resprayed, £6000 quote, its pretty good but not perfect. The non slip sections have deck paint not diamond which is a shame, but was not a deal breaker. The hull though is perfect, just needs a polish.
Most parts and fittings are new, including wiring, mechanics and electronics, upholstery and covers.
The cockpit had new Tek Dek, the start of the previous owners work.
Not my choice and very heavy, but perfect in its own way.
Last main job is the windscreen capping. Fitting the windscreens was a bit scary needing very accurate cutting.
Apart from some minor bits then all old boatness has gone, previous minor bodging, aged fittings etc.
it will be presentable, tidy, and everything should be good for many more years. It will not need the maintenance of a wooden Fairey but will be kept up to scratch as Flying Fish was.
Looking forward to uaing it soon.
