The engines we have now moved from my home to Baltic Wharf. I stripped them down to less than 500kg and used a Transit tail lift truck. Thanks to Steve and Chris at New Wave for their help
Steve has fitted the moved rear mounts and aligned everything with the dummy engine.
Thanks to Scott for his design and engineering of the engine mounts.
I've lost a month but Paul Foulston is kindly coming down to help run the engines in Jan before they are put in the boat. I think I should still meet the deadline of launch circa April.
Cockpit cover fitted today, looks nice. Nearly lost enthusiasm over what has been 2.5 years, but comes back each time I see the pretty thing. I'll keep the boat I think 3 seasons,I ll then be 70, and that's time to call a stop to boating, by then I'll see it as a toil of a pleasure as my Dad used to say around the same age.
Pleased to have dipped my toe into Fairey boats though.

We all have 2 steps forward 1 step back type of days...
I'm 3 months in but making good progress.
Actually putting back together rather than stripping down.
All the points raised in the survey pretty much resolved.
