I have just been reading about marinas closing and Fairey owners running out of materials and activities spluttering to a halt..
I am undertaking a less ambitious task...waterproofing my covers.
What are you guys recommending for fabric proofing? Should be able to get stuff on the internet. Covers washed, just need some good recommendations.

Perhaps speak with the original makers of the cover for recommendations. Requirements may differ from fabric to fabric.

I have used Millet's finest tent reproofing stuff in the past. Its very runny and soaks into the fabric well. Maybe a spray bottle rather than the whitewash brush I used.

(Mind you, finding a Millets that is still open may be a challenge.)

I use Fenwicks tent and awning re-proofer.
Caravan and Camping shops plus good ol Flea Bay
Pour it into a pressure pump sprayer add 25% water and you should get a couple of coats
Works well on our Sea Ray boat cover which is now almost 20 years old !!
but does not work on my ski suit (same age !!), the benefit over others is its water soluble and not aerosol based

Probably much of a muchness, still, I have used Fabsil for many years successfully, following recommendations by my shipwright whom looks after some 50 plus boats on the river dart. Available pretty much everywhere doing a Google search.

Hi I have used Fabsil for last couple of years .It works very well the cover looks much newer after application with sponge which is very easy . 5l was just enough to do tonneau and camper cover , available on ebay from around £ 25-30 for 5l tin . Nick
