Jerry,

Tony HH has the original repair drawings which he can supply at a VERY reasonable contribution to club funds. I'd leave it for a little while and let him recover from his recent medical upsets.

In the meantime use the "search" feature near the top right of your screen. Use search words like "hull repair" etc. There are lots of posts on the subject in the archived section, including a basic outline on repair technique from me. No pictures, but it gives a reasonable idea of what's involved.

Hi Jerry,
I have 4 x A4 drawings of how to effect repairs to Fairey Fast Patrol Boats which look exactly like H28s! No dates on them but lovely drawings with clear explanations - think even I could do a repair of some sorts!
Can get them copied next time I'm at the printers .... also have a BIG drawing about 3'x 2' with full explanations of how to repair a duckling dinghy (almost worth framing!)
Let me know
Tony

Hi Tony good of you to get back so early .... I knew you might know but thought I should go to Forum & give you a breather...
Yes I'd be really happy to send something to club funds...OR join club as I seem to keep needing info !! Both drawings sound fantastic I'd really appreciate copies, but at your convenience !
Really glad to hear you're on the mend and look forward to meeting one day...
Allthe best ,
Jerry

thanks for your help Bil, think I have the hang of it .... chiselling the soft ply away carefully layer by layer to repair rubbing strake on my Ranger which goes through to hull...
Quite therapeutic !... the drawings would still be fantastic to have !!
Best regards Jerry
