An exciting evening in Yarmouth as a few Fairey motorboats have congregated before our trip to Dartmouth tomorrow.
We aim to leave at HW tomorrow picking up a couple of boats off Poole.
We will take the offshore passage round the “Bill”, and are aware of live firing off Lulworth!
Looking forward to meeting the South West Ports Fairey Owners in Dartmouth.

Re: Dartmouth Cruise
It was my full intention to update you daily on the trip to Dartmouth but the opportunity escaped me.
Suffice it to say Lyme Bay was absolutely flat on Thursday and we reached Dartmouth in 3 1/2 hours cruising at 25+ knots. Deck and windscreen dry! Crew happy.
A great sight travelling with a Huntsman 31 and a Fantome for company.
We were joined in Dartmouth by 5 Spearfish and a DQR, were entertained by Jonathan Turner, as well as the Dartmouth Yacht Club and dinner for 30 at the Royal Dart Yacht Club on Saturday night. Trips and overnights to Salcombe and Dittisham, a photoshoot to celebrate last years 60th Anniversary of the Spearfish, and back to Yarmouth last Thursday and who would have thought...flat water and another amazing journey.
All this will be in the next Fairey News but we cant leave it there.
We are planning a trip to the Channel Islands next year and I hope more of you will join us.
