Sorry this is not Fairey related. I just changed the operating system on my confuser, and like a complete plank, I forgot to save my e-mail address book. So now there are several of you out there I can no longer pester. Those of you who I've been in touch with over the years who don't mind being pestered by me could do me a big favour by sending me a short note so I've got your address. I don't think you can put e-mail links on the new forum so I'll give you our business e-mail address (The one we get all the spam on already). It is melwalden@bonjour.totalserve.co.uk.
Thanks,
Bill.

Hi Bill,
Sorry for late reply but just back from 2 weeks roaming the USA..from NYC up to Cape Cod...great fun, food, shopping and weather!
Firstly...my email tonyh-h@tiscali.co.uk
Secondly and more important...Fiona and I found this delightful restaurant at Old Saybrook by the mouth of the Connecticut river. One of the rooms adjoining the restaurant was a gallery full of excellent boaty paintings and pics of QM2/QE2 in NYC. Got chatting to the artist and after an hour or so it turns out that back in '83 he spent 40 days and long nights filming the Aussies beat the Victory 83 team...now the chat turned very much towards any photos he took of PdeS's support boats. He's sure he has loads of pics but now sure what he has to look for so I will snail mail him pics I have of Charleston in the hope that he has some more for you in his files.
Will keep you posted
Tony

Tony,
You are a gentleman, a scholar, and a warm and wonderful human being. If this chap is forthcoming with photos of Charleston in her (sort of) glory days, I would be delighted to receive them. Glad to hear you had a nice time on your hols. I'll give you a tinkle soon to get the e-mails of the b*gg*rs who haven't been forthcoming in response to my plea. BTW, I just got back from the pub next door after watching the England v Portugal game. That Ref should be struck off, or whatever they do to bad referees. IMHO of course.
Bill.
