The water level has always been above the boot-topping at the stern end of Supertramp and I had always assumed that it was a result of re-engining the boatwith Perk/Sabre 225Ti's which were heavier than the Mermaids and so upsetting the original waterline mark.
Not so. After the Christmas edition of F News showed the boat as she was when new- 1973- the water-line was also above the boot-topping at the stern even then.
Is this a common Spearfish problem?
We have readjusted our boot-topping now.
