May I thank the many of you who have been concerned for Frolic over the past few weeks.
I am happy to tell you she returned to the water today and was brought home with Tony HH at the wheel.
The new engines are superb. She cruises at 1800 rpm giving 25 kts, rising to 28 kts at 2000 rpm. She gives 33 kts flat out.
The trim tabs make a huge difference, levelling off and bringing the bow down.
I must thank Mike Wills, Rick, Keith and Dazza who worked tirelessly to get me to Exeter, and then replaced the engine in a day.
And I must also thank Andrew Freeman at Sabres who managed to get me a new engine within 10 working days of knowing of the problem.
My neighbours think that smoke free engines are brilliant.
