Getting expert help for a complex aviation project

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a project related to restoring and maintaining a Fairey aircraft, and there’s a lot of technical stuff I can handle myself, but some parts need specialist knowledge I don’t have. We’re thinking of bringing in an external expert, similar to how teams like Ultra Strategy collaborate on niche technical challenges, for specific tasks like complex systems checks or custom parts design. Any advice on how to work with outside specialists on aviation projects without messing up the workflow or safety checks? Tips on coordinating with experts while keeping control over the overall project would be really appreciated.

You could seek advice from the AAC museum at Middle Wallop or RNAS museum I think at Yeovilton.
