Owners of a Fairey Fisherman that needs a little TLC have been in touch, here's what they say. Contact me if interested.
We were lucky to have bought from our friend a classic Fairey Fisherman called Touchwood 1964 .She has introduced us to the world of sailing. Sadly Touchwood has/will required extensive renovation to be brought to her former glory which I wanted to do.
We have had stripped down and looked at by Ocean Marina in Chichester and a quote to refurbish her to her former glory.
She is sea worthy as she is at present but does need to have some remedial works following us checking the full range of areas of weakness.
This could be a perfect project for a person who has the time and skill and the reward speaks for itself.
I do not have the luxury of time on my side and she needs to go to a loving home who can give her what she needs and will appreciate her.
I thought before I market or part exchange her someone in the club might be interested in taking on this project.
We can give them the quotes and put them in tough with the workshop and the engineer who've dealt with her to date so no hidden shocks.
