Sabre 212C

Post by Folly Reach »

Dawn Patrol has a pair of Ford Dover Engines but they are not a matching pair.

One is a Ford Sabre 212C, the other engine is a Hendy Power Products (we think) set up most likely as a 210.

The plan is to make them both 212C's.

I need at the very least.

An Amot Vale assembly.

A Heat Exchanger/Header tank.

A water cooled turbo charger.

A complete engine in whatever condition may well be an option as long as it is a 212C.

I know there may well be a few suggestions that a pair of Cummins are the way forward but for the time being the plan is to stick with the Fords.

Any assistance or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Ian

Acquired a couple of Amot Thermostats thanks to the YBW Forum. A FH420 Bowman heat exchanger next on the list.

Quite right Robin. Fords. With lumpy idle and chrome rocker covers. Nice.
