Huntsman badges

Post by HoneyRush »

Hello Everyone, My name is Rob, I am a new member with the purchase of H28 Honeyrush #112.
Can anyone tell me if reproduction Hunstman badges are available for the cockpit sides?
Also I am looking for Cummins parts, mainly a cylinder head if anybody has one.
Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob
Contact Paul Foulston at Paul. Foulston@btopenworld.com. He is an ex Cummins man
Who has many spare bits. Scott Pett may reply to you with more info. I have done a list of contacts for you. Some points for Honeyrush also which make all the difference in looks and originality.
I'll leave it on the boat next week.
Regards David

I have .dxf files for the Huntsman badge that will allow a sheet metal worker with a cnc laser or water jet cutter to make them. I'll email the files over.

The .igs and .dxf files should be in your email.

Rob
When I was in the Ffoukes chandlery barge on the Hamble last year, they had two white original Hunstsman cabin side logo's behind the counter.
They may still be there.

I also have an original Huntsman badge, but the one I have is made from Aluminium, which is not very durable when around sea water. The ones on my boat now were cut from Ben's file in stainless steel, and were professionally polished, they look very good.

I am going to have a new pair cut from stainless using Ben's file. If anybody else would like a pair, let me know and I'll have extras cut at the same time.
