BW 72c gearbox wanted

Has anybody got a spare 1 to 1 gearbox I could have. I want to experiment with the upgaraded or additional clutch pack, if my standard clutches are not happy with the power.

How many HP at what revs?

There are many upgrades for the Velvet drive, but I reckon the 1:1 is bombproof.

I put 240hp through mine at 2400rpm and over 3 seasons they were fine.

Weakest link is the reverse clutch plates.

260 at 2800 .

That's 10.8hp per 100rpm, if I remember correctly the manual says max 9.6hp/100rpm.

Keeping a spare handy might be a good idea.
