How badly do you want a pair of engines?

Post by Ben »

Nice pair of Cummins 6BT 180/210hp engines here.

Lift the engines out, sell of the boat to someone for a liveabord.

Could be a good pair of engines for sensible money for someone.

Roll your sleeves up, big tub of hand cleaner, bag of spanners and its done!

Good job you said that Charles, I thought it looked a bit like a Halmatic DS110. I'm glad I didn't say anything!!

Well there's a funny thing, a very long time ago I worked to Leo da Costa. I had no idea he designed some boats, when I knew him he was selling French sailing boats. Feeling and Gib Sea. Long time back!

I knew it wasn't a DS110, but oddly, one other person thought it was.

Cruising speed 20-25knots, 28knot maximum, 300 mile range.
4 berths in 2 cabins.  Beamy, spacious hull, high quality, comfortable mahogany interior. 2 hydraulic cockpit seats, teak laid decks.
Only 8 built, including one built with wheelhouse and flybridge, not seen.
One was berthed at Shamrock Quay, Southampton in 2009, another at Brixham, one in Sweden.

I heard it running 10 days ago (for this is my home marina). Sounded absolutely gorgeous. Unhappily, been removed from ebay.
