We popped over to Brixham this morning. I am not sure why as it has always been a dump of a place.
It was heaving with people. Rules in the shops, masks, people skirting round other people with fear on their faces. I think we are all fed up with this and that another lockdown would cripple the economy and the soul of the nation.
Don t read the news and go boating.

I dont need much paint as it is a plastic boat I Ran out of head lining material 4"short must remember to cut a bit more accurately only problem is no more stock oops will have to trawle round the interweb to find the same colour . The sink I want is now sold loads more searching . Now moved onto aft cabin, windows and rotten frames removed all panels
out and new replacements cut to size and covered . Teak trim all stripped and ready for varnishing. Still looks like chaos but is now a manageable form of chaos . electric fan heater now onboard along with all important kettle as it is a bit colder winter getting close . Nick

Talking of paint will The Phantoms superstructure polish up, or does that need a respray. I see Rogers other Fairey Solent Charger is now back up for sale at Nicholle. Second to last Fairey built 31.
Not winter in Devon yet it's really warm today.

The Hull is definite polish the superstructure will only be known when polisher gives it a trial .The outside is not high on to do list may be another couple of weeks yet ,it will all need a really good clean and scrub with some of the fittings being removed for chroming and replacement. Nick

Been doing some panic buying myself this week and will do more today to ensure I have supplies to keep work going. Looks like another lockdown is coming! When will all this madness be over?!
