Fairey spearfish
Looking for help in acquiring spearfish steering ball joints , links, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Ian Perkes. 07836265602..

I found the UJs were Leyland Sherpa items, but with same splines as Landover Discovery. Ball joints are also automotive. I did find a company making plastic rose joints with lh and Rh threads. I think but am not 100% that the aft steering box is Austin Healey. I found all my gearboxes were fairly easy to refurbish, so may be worth trying before forking out.

Hi Ian,
I got replacement track rod ends from a very helpful chap. I sent my old ones to him as a sample and he matched up new parts perfectly.

Note, Track rod end with a right hand thread is Quinton Hazell part Number QR233.

There is a guy in Southampton who sells old stock track rod ends, I bought some for Dawn Patrol. Ben has his details I think.
