EXPOSURE

Post by derek »

Hi,
As you may know I used to own Furious the last super swordsman built hull No 57 and sold her in 2002 for a Nelson 42 mk11 a great sea boat but expensive to run anyway I have sold her and now bought Exposure super swordsman hull No 54 and intend to carry out a complete refurb over the next 12 months or so.
It seems the forum is a good place to gain tips etc so I think I will become a regular visitor over the comming months.

Derek.

Its going to be a complete refit inside and out, Exposure will be going into a tent at Emsworth Yacht Harbour in the next week or so after the paint has been removed so she can be worked on during he winter months.

Engines were renewed in 1986 and are mostly OK but we will be replacing all the cooling bits etc.

I may replace the windows and screen do you know any suppliers?

Derek.

For Windscreens, try Precision Units in Poole, they have supplied several acrylic panels for me.

Details in the Reference section of the FOC website.

Cheers,
Scott

I have recently used precision units and found them very helpful.
They do have several templates if required.
I have recently restored a huntress and enjoyed all the hard work,so have fun with your project.

Pleased Furious is back in the UK and would like to see her again, she is a great boat and has looked after me very well.
Exposure is having a total refit and will not be back in the water for at least 12 months.
If you are passing Emsworth Yacht Harbour call in and see us she will be in a big scaffolding tent at the far end of the yard.
