A further update on the screens for RoNey... You can still get the 7704, the pale blue tint but in comes in 5mm rather than the 6mm that the clear sheets come in. There's about a 6% premium on the 7704.... but no delays in getting it (he says with fingers firmly crossed).

However, be prepared for a shock - the material costs have gone up markedly.

I'm hoping to pick them up the end of next week - so more pictures then....

Unfortunately big increases in materials these days across the board.
No surprise..

Two great advantages of using the right people (certainly for those located central south coast) in that you can get the new screens 90% of the way there on the first measuring set up and then pop back down to Poole to get the final tweaks done. I've certainly been impressed with the service I've had and the screens look... a 'cool blue'. I also got a sneak peak at the new Spear screens that they're working on... looking good.

Andy and Steve at Precision Units were super helpful over the last few weeks with the new screens for Wight Huntsman too.

I'm not forgetting Kelly in the Office. I needed an extra drill to put in an unexpected hole in one of the screens, spoke with Kelly - the following day one arrived in the post - all they asked is that I send it back afterwards!

Top service all round..

New windscreens on Wight Huntsman, been a trial but worth it. Supply and cut by Precision Units in Poole.

What did you seal it back together with?
