Suffolk Yacht Harbour Classic Regatta: June 14th - 16th 2024

The bad weather across much of England in the early part of the weekend - which curtailed some Regattas - did not stop the team at Suffolk Yacht Harbour (SYH) from organising another successful and very enjoyable event. (Although some of the sail-boat races were on different/shorter courses).

In addition, Ben Curtis came east of the meridian bringing a boot-load of gin and tonic which contributed, on Saturday afternoon after the motor-boat events, to our community’s camaraderie on the pontoon continuing a long-established Club tradition.

For Sunday the weather dramatically improved so in glorious sunshine many participated in the roast Sunday lunch on the lawn at the Royal Harwich Yacht Club, rapidly becoming another tradition.
